Ashley Kortis

A native Texan & graduate of Texas A&M University, Ashley Kortis will be leading the Science Mill’s strategic fundraising, public engagement and brand management efforts as the Director of Advancement and Marketing. With over 10 years experience in the nonprofit sector, most recently as Executive Director of the Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley, Ashley has a passion for community- and capacity-building. Ashley recently relocated from the motherland – College Station – to the Hill Country, along with her husband Nelson, son Cannon, daughter Charlotte, and their 1 year old rescue pup, Nuz. When she is not at the Mill, you can most often find her at a local antique store or at a Johnson City Eagles football game watching her son play and her husband coach.
