School Year Package

The School Year Package ($150) is inclusive of admission to all seven (7) Homeschool Days this school year for 1 Adult + 1 Youth, and a reserved spot in the monthly Learning Lab for the child’s age group.

Learning Labs

Learning Labs are enrichment activities that cover a variety of STEM topics and careers facilitated by Science Mill instructors. All instructors receive background checks when hired and go through in-depth training about classroom management, best practices, and content for each lab.  The Labs are offered by age groups: ages 5-7, ages 8-10, and ages 11-17.

About Homeschool Days

The Science Mill Homeschool Days give students and their adults a chance to explore a STEM field in greater depth through activity stations, exposure to STEM careers, and age-based Learning Labs for ages 5-17 led by Science Mill educators. (Plus, explore all the Mill’s STEM-focused exhibits, too!) All young scientists are welcome to join Homeschool Days, including homeschoolers, homeschooling groups, learning pods, and students with asynchronous schedules. Homeschool Days will be held monthly from September 2024 to April 2025.*

*Except January 2025 for the mid-year break

The STEM Scholar Add-On ($30), exclusive to students aged 8-17 years old, provides students an additional hour-long session and a guided STEM Scholar Project designed to dive deeper into in-depth STEM topics and learning experiences! This add-on covers the entire school year for one (1) student.
