Julie Hoyle

Julie joined the Science Mill in 2023 as an Education Specialist bringing 28 years of both teaching and curriculum writing experience to our team. She believes in a student-centered hands-on approach to education. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. After twenty-plus years teaching 6th and 7th-grade science, she became the Enrichment Specialist for Pecan Trail Intermediate School in 2017, where she has designed, implemented, and evaluated curriculum for 5th and 6th-grade gifted and talented students in College Station ISD. She has been married to her husband John for 41 years and is a mother of two. Julie loves visiting National Parks, traveling, and spending time in nature.
