5th Annual Science Mill Benefit
Celebrating 5 Amazing Years!
Saturday, November 16, 5-9pm
At the Science Mill
101 South Lady Bird Lane, Johnson City, Texas, 78636
On Saturday, November 16, the Science Mill presents Night of 5s! When the clock strikes 5, doors open and the party begins! We invite you to an unforgettable evening of art, music, science and creativity. Wine and dine on delicious cuisine and drinks from the regions best chefs, wineries, distilleries, and breweries as you explore all the hands-on exhibits in our historic, beautifully restored 1880’s mill.
Bring your dancing shoes because we are transforming the Science Mill into two vibrant music venues for one night only! Local Austin favorite, DJ Peytonius, will be mixing his signature beats while you get down on the dance floor. Then, step into the swanky “Take 5 Jazz Lounge” for some Bossa Nova and Latin Jazz with the legendary Armin Marmolejo Quintet.
Night of 5s guests will have an exclusive opportunity to take home unique pieces from our spectacular art auction including works by Cruz Ortiz, Denise Prince, Jason Archer, and many more. Artists are selling their works this evening to support the Science Mill, and all sales will be tax-free.
All proceeds from the Night of 5s help set kids on a path of curiosity, exploration, discovery, excitement and confidence in their futures! Your contributions go directly to Science Mill programs that focus on developing young participants in a science literate community as well as a strong skilled STEM workforce.
Austin and San Antonio guests can take advantage of complimentary luxury coach rides to the Science Mill. Enjoy hors d’hoeuvres, drinks, and music on your way to experience Night of 5s, where you will be immersed in a world of STEM creativity and wonderment! Secure your seat on the bus today!
