Design, test and problem solve alongside special guests from the Austin branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). They’ll help you turn everyday objects into engineering marvels: build weight-bearing bridges from paper and soaring towers from brittle spaghetti. Design helicopters and hoop gliders and watch them take flight. Experiment with physics to create a power-packed catapult—how far can you fling?

ASCE will cover FREE admission for the first 200 guests to Engineering Day! Tickets can also be purchased at the door when you arrive; advance tickets are not available for this event. Special activities run from 10am-2pm; museum open 10am-4pm.
