Lian Sing

As the Manager of STEM Programs, Lian ensures the smooth and timely facilitation of the Science Mill’s education programs, which includes the Summer STEM Immersion Camps, Labs on the Go, STEM Discovery Clubs, and more. She is also a writer by training, so she supports the organization’s communications across all platforms to ensure the Science Mill’s story is effectively conveyed.

Much of her free time is spent studying new recipes or writing poetry. She has been published or is forthcoming in Black Warrior Review, petrichor, Meridian, Quarter After Eight, Unbroken, The Journal of Southeast Asian Ecocriticism, Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine, The Literary Apprentice, and elsewhere. Her first chapbook Revelations was published by Factory Hollow Press. She was born and raised in Manila, but she currently lives in a tiny home on wheels in central Texas.
