Sherry Vaughn

I have worked at the Science Mill since September 2019. I started as an Exhibit Explainer, and moved into the role of Visitor Services Manager in June 2020. In my life prior to joining the Science Mill, I worked at an engineering company for 20 years - starting in an entry level position at the age of 18. I started as an office assistant. Then, after a few years, moved into the accounting department, which was where I worked the majority of my years at the company.  When I left, I was a project coordinator for the bridges and highways section. I left to start a family with my husband and was a stay at home and homeschool teaching mom to our daughter. She and I visited the Science Mill frequently after it opened. An Explainer position opened up at the time I was looking for part time work, and I couldn't think of a better place to apply.
